Movies is to Hollywood as Video games is to ____________

I often like to compare video games to movies in discussion, as they are pretty similar entertainment mediums (except the part where games are interactive and stuff) but that isn't what the topic is, like the title says.

Hollywood and Beverly Hills are famous places for movie stars to create movies and to live their lives, but is there such a place for video games? Where are most of the game studios located? Where do most of their workers live? etc. I'm very curious to listen to your answers.

I don't think there is a proper answer to that analogy. At least, I can't think of any centralized place that holds most video game creation in any country, let alone carries the one-word US media macrocosm that "Hollywood" does.
