Is it just me or is every show in MTV just pure stupid! And I mean every one of them. From Laguna Beach, 16 and Pregnant to what was Paris Hilton's my new BFF. I don't know who they hire to make ideas for this shows but man they must be so goddamn stupid. I mean I once watched Paris Hilton's My New BFF and felt my brain cells dying.

The only thing's I ever saw were My Super Sweet 16 and something about Brooke Hogan. Both were...well just not targeted at me and I don't think anything on that channel is meant to be.

Anyway, if you don't like the shows on MTV, simply don't watch it.

No intention to troll here, that is NOT the purpose why I'm saying this. But why do you still watch it then? You are right in the way that it was a music chanel and now it sucks. The days of things like beavis and butt-head, daria, headbangers ball and all that never to return. But if their ratings drop, that must be a wake up call for them.

In my countries cable it isn't even grouped with the music channels anymore luckily, before it was and it was completely unusual. I wish it would go back to the 90's style (liquid television ). This current MTV is the worst goddamn channel in existence.

And as for MTV, they had to upgrade from being a normal music channel to direct themselves onto teenagers. And teenagers are 16 year olds, so they figured "Why don't we make a show that shows how a 16 year old girls birthday can turn out really FABulous"

I'd have done the same if I owned MTV. Direct yourself to the kids/teenagers watching their show.

I think it used to be, but now it's a channel (or series of channels) dedicated to vaguely music-related garbage, celebre-tards and psuedo-pop-culture. It's turned into a 24/7 attempt at gloryfying the likes of Paris and Perez, and gods know what else.

At least with VH1 there's VH1 classic, which shows the music videos that were on there before they followed in MTV's footsteps. Always nice when I'm in a hair metal mood. [sub]It also shows decent movies every once in a while[/sub]

I REALLY want to see that but don't feel like torturing myself by watching the other episodes to find that...oh well, I could search for it on Youtube. On that side subject, (I'm not sure if it's on MTV or not) but has anybody else thought about the show "You're cut off"? I mean, those spoiled brats are supposed to be "cut off", right? So, why are they living in a mansion? Throw them in a tiny studio apartment. Then, if they refuse to work, they can only eat cold meat sandwiches and ramen noodles. I would enjoy watching that. That's why I despise reality shows, they're all fake and pointless.
