Due to the spectacular failure that is Matchmaking for MW2 on PC I have come across a problem that I haven't experienced on PC before.
Here's my issue. My brother and I are both gamers who are located on the same network. Due to Matchmaking using a NAT system I have found a problem where both he and I cannot have an Open NAT at the same time. We have experienced this problem on Xbox 360 however due to the limited control that Microsoft allows over your console we have never resolved the issue. My understanding (fairly limited) of port forwarding is that a port can only be forwarded to one computer on the network which is what causes the NAT issue.
Does anyone know of a work around to allow us to either change the port that one computer on the network uses, or to otherwise acquire an open NAT for both PC's at the same time? The Infinity Ward website was pretty pathetic as its only solution to fixing a "Strict" NAT was to enable uPNP which doesnt help the situation at all as it simply forwards the port to the first PC that requests it.
