I'm not a smoker, but that would be a good as time as any to start burning tobacco in between my dried up lips.
With a firm grasp on my AK, I'd stare at the ruined pride of kings and dictators beneath my feet and walk into the desert, looking to burrow myself inside one of the many abandoned bunkers like a rat. The plains would stretch as long as the night. Every cell of my body would be exhausted. Eventually, I'd collapse.
Before falling asleep in a bundle of rags and bullet vests, I'd dream of waking up in my appartment, making cofee and omlette and texting angry things to my ex.

They let you bring your own board games and everything. Love playing Betrayal at house on Haunted Hill or Arkham Horror and getting hammered on craft stout.
And probably Starship Troopers. And not getting to see Zootopia 2. And Warhammer throwdowns.

Hmmm...if the apocalypse happened then all the other potential apocalypses wouldn't. All those people wanting to see the zombie apocalypse would be annoyed if it was triffids that killed everyone, even if some zombies turned up as well.

What would I miss? Civilization basically. The loss of humanity's accomplishments as a species, and our drive to make a better world comes crashing down? Seems silly to miss tiny details about something as monumentous as that.
If I could find a song that best incapsulated the "what happens next" I would. And that would be humanity's drive to reclaim what was lost. Because we won't stop, we won't quit....actually, yes I do have a song for that, even though I don't like the song much, I like the spirit behind it.

Appropriate music for civilization's downfall is going to depend pretty enormously on how said downfall comes about, no? The music for a zombie apocalypse would be horribly out of place in a robot uprising, and the tunes that evokes would mesh horribly with being nuked into oblivion by Shaka.
I should think, though, that any likely scenario is likely to lead to being far more carefree- after all, your likely responsibilities will be limited to sustenance, shelter, rebuilding society, and possibly repopulating the earth; no more dress codes or parking tickets, no more keeping up with the Joneses or worrying about offending someone by serving Ding dongs with white wine instead of red. Granted, there are dangers in recklessly over-betting how many nosalises it would take to kill a bloodsucker, but that's hardly unavoidable.
And what would I miss? Reliable electricity. Without that, I can't run the machinery that keeps my brain from killing itself while I sleep.
