Music recommendations

I'm mostly into metal from the days of yore but that won't stop me from enjoying other forms of music as long as it's not generic pop.

Any suggestions?

Edit* In terms of metal I like thrash, progressive, NWOBHM, groove, and basic, heavy metal. I'm also ok with hard rock, classic rock, alternative, and punk. As for other genres besides rock I'm not too sure where to start

I have been known to know a lot of metal bands but it would help if I knew what types you liked and how heavy into the genre your willing to go into seeing as I know bands from Dragonforce to Oceano.

I'd suggest Finntroll: the only death metal band I know of to successfully incorporate an accordian

Also, Tyr is awesome. They're like Metallica if Metallica had grown up listening to themselves on an isolated island in Scandinavia

For weirdness, I'd suggest Mr. Bungle

And for beauty, I suggest Camel

Hopefully one of these will strike a chord
