I recently was listening to "Within Temptation" album "Silent Force"
And was reminded why I love their music :)

But one even more interesting thing happened when I listened to 5th sing "Pale"
When chorus hit my brain felt physical pleasure similar to sexual one
And every time I listen this sing I'm ecstatic

Also few songs can guarantee to bring out my tears
Nine Inch Nails- Something I have never have
Nine Inch Nails- All the the things that could have been
Emilie Autumn- Across the sky
Emilie Autumn- Willow
Within Temptation- Somewhere
Within Temptation- Hand of sorrow
etc.

So what are the songs that touch your emotions deeply?

The brown note.[footnote]

Seriously though, I'm not that much of a music person - however, I really like a segment from this track, starting at 2:03;[/footnote]

I connect with pretty much all of Pink Floyd's album/ movie "The Wall" on a very deep, emotional level, the three best examples...

Not really emotional, but...

The Jesus and Mary Chain actually makes me feel light headed when i blur them out full blast through headphones.

I think it has something to do with the heavy reverb in their songs. Their guitar sound is almost white noise.

For example...

Has an amazing calming effect on me.

Doesn't matter how bad my day has been, I just listen to this track and it's all swept away like leaves in the breeze.

John Williams. Everything. It invokes such nostalgia, because you can tell exactly where you are in a film he's scored just by the soundtrack alone.

THOSE FUCKING DRUMS.

The minute the military version of Binary Sunset begins, you immediately see the interceptors peeling out over the Star Destroyer and BOOM, one of the biggest space battles ever created.

thanks...and no, the Dog isn't my creation, not too long ago I got my hands on some of the old comics and scanned some expressions from there, though resizing them to work with was a pain since the program I'm using blurs everything (it was free, so yeah) so there's a little "touching up" going on

Ive always found NIN's "Hurt" to be one of his darkest....

Color me stupid but i don't see direct connection between "physical" and "emotions".
For example - Dubstep makes me dizzy, but there aren't any emotions involved.
Ont he other hand something like this :
touches some strings in my souls, without slightest physical reaction... :]

A Hermit's Cave
A few pieces by JS Bach and a couple by Haendel, which is strange because baroque is not what one usually describes as 'emotive'.

Anyway, this song can drive me to tears, sometimes:

I can't help but sing the chorus to this. Counts as a physical effect, right?

Lots of music from film scores do this to me;

Braveheart's 'Freedom/Execution/Bannockburn'

Gladiator's 'Now We Are Free'

They're just such beautiful peices.....

The Suicide Mission theme [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTsD2FjmLsw] from Mass Effect 2 always gives me goosebumps. It just fits the awesomeness of the final mission so much.

Plenty of tracks from the band Journey give me goosebumps. They have a quality to them that can only be described as epic.
