When I do homework, play games on my computer, surf the web, or basically do anything I usually have pandora playing music in the background. As I write it's playing my primary station "background stuff" which consists mostly of the soundtracks from Final Fantasy, as well as Halo.

I'm getting sick of listening to the same songs over and over again and was wondering if the escapists could recommended some new music to add.

I like music with no lyrics (or atleast none in english), that goes well as background noise. The Final Fantasy soundtracks are great for this. If you could reccomend me any music to listen to while I work I would greatly appreciate it.

My friends and I used to joke about this sounding like what a rapist would play as he sneaks into a little girl's room at night.

As for instrumental music to listen to while you work, I recommend Animals as Leaders if you like jazz/metal. It's not quiet or anything, but it's not too intruding either.

I listen to a bunch of stuff, depending on my current mood. If you're interested in game music without lyrics I woulld suggest Bryyo by Metroid Metal and The Passing of the Blue Crown (oc remix) by Sixto Sounds, Steppo, and ziron.

(starts out slow)

I don't, what is th-?... Wait a second! I can get out of this music ruining and potentialy scarring mess by exposing the one contradiction within this statement. If the guy is intending to rape a girl... Then why is he playing a Piano, Guitar and some drum thing all at the same time!

Well, I listen to Daft Punk while working. There are English lyrics though.

Daft punk is one of my favorite bands, but I'm going to stick to non-lyrical stuff. Thanks anyway.

The "you win at life" music

Good work music beyond this point

These are good, what are the artists' names so I can add them to my pandora?

The entirety of Alive 2007 by Daft Punk. Songs for the Deaf by Queens of the Stone Age is also a good work listen.

I tend to have a specific band that I listen to for every game I play regularly.

Medal of Honor - Protest the Hero

Call of Duty 4 - Avenged Sevenfold

MMORPGs - Fall of Troy

Halo: Reach - Brand New

There are probably a few more, but I can't seem to remember them.

i listen to some old and new Incubus when i do stuff, but that has lyrics, so i dont know whether you want to listen to it or not. The songs that i like right now are Vitamin and Redefine. Although Anna Molly and A Certain Shade of Green are awesome too.

I also play this for racing games.
