As the title states, what is a band/song/album/whatever that you feel like is good background music for almost anything?

For example: Recently, I've noticed that I can listen to Daft Punk either while making coffee at 6 A.M., driving down the road, or even while writing a paper for school.

Particularly, this song:

Also, Incubus seems pretty appropriate for almost any time.

EDIT: I'm adding Tool to mine.

The Benny Hill Theme. Mainly because it makes me so happy I don't care what I'm doing. Does that count?

This times 1000

Also, my avatar syncs up with like every song ever. Just wanted to say that.
Dear god, you're right.

It worked with every song I tried that had any sort of normal beat.

Blue train by John Coltrane. Any cool jazz makes everything relaxing.

Hah, I just tested that, it syncs to "On My Way" by Spiderbait and "Aesthetics of Hate" by Machine Head! Not "Battery" though, sorry.

EDIT: Your avatar is so hypnotic...

Me, I could listen to some nice hip-hop like Blackalicious or Nextmen whenever. Can't work with anything too furious or upbeat.

Either the Time Warp or Rage in the Cage by J. Geils.

Although in the case of the Time Warp I'll no longer be doing what I was doing before, but in fact, be jumping slightly to the left...maybe taking a small step to the right...

Could it be that then your hands will find their way to your hips? thus placing your knees in tight.

100% agree with that.

Also, while this song may seem like an unlikely candidate, just try doing something, anything, to the beat of it. You'll automatically sync up and everything you do will become 1000 times more awesome:

See. It totally works.

Duh yeah, course Daft Punk is multi-purpose. Personally it's just whatever I'm into at the time. Right now I'm getting back into Funeral for a Friend. That could have something to do with this recent bought of depression I've been experiencing...

I've also got a thing for Pearl Jam... getting into Backspacer...

Oh yes, yes they did. I was compelled afterward to perform a pelvic thrust; it really drove me insane! I felt I had to do it again!

Take any mundane activity, say, brushing your teeth, and do it to Battle Without Honor or Humanity. Watch how amazing moments of life are made.

Let's see that on Guitar Hero.
