Hey, guys. As the title says, what songs do you know all or most of the lyrics to, but hate and would be embarrassed to hum in public?

Personally, I know way too many ABBA songs for my own good, but I especially can't stand it when this song gets stuck in my head. (and it often does)

Nothing wrong with ABBA. I probably know the words to most of their songs, so darn catchy.

Some song by Adele embarrasses me. For weeks it used to get played many times each shift at work. I hated it to death but the words eventually lodged in my head. I would never utter them aloud though.

I once knew the words to the English opening of Sailor Moon.

...What? I was, like, 8 years old.

I'm not ashamed, but It's a little odd how many of Stephen Lynch's songs play in my head, (Grandfather, the nazi song, halloween, etc.) been thinking this one frequently lately.

I hate that song so much. The only reason I know it at all is because one of my friends used to annoy me by playing/singing it non-stop whenever I was near him. Luckily I'm starting to forget it again, probably because I haven't heard it at all for a good few years.

Also, there's more than 1 song with a certain equestrian theme I probably shouldn't know the lyrics to.

The lesser known verse 2 of "Friday"

7:45, we?re drivin? on the highway
Cruisin? so fast, I want time to fly
Fun, fun, think about fun
You know what it is
I got this, you got this
My friend is by my right
I got this, you got this
Now you know it

That said, I'm not really ashamed to know it, just because it's so hilarious.

One time while at the grocery store, I got the urge to start singing this song out loud in the frozen food section.

Only because it's on every single fucking day at work!!!

>:/

EDIT: The sad thing is, I used to like Alanis Morissette before I started working there. :(

Blessed with a near perfect audio memory - I can sing full versions of any of a raft of pop tunes that are otherwise quite cringe-worthy.

Barbie Girl - Aqua, I think we're alone now - Tiffany, Save your love my darling - Rene and Renata, Ooh Ah... - Gina G, several Rick Astley numbers, Joe Dolce, Gary Glitter tunes (other reasons for not wanting to publicise knowledge of those...)

However I'm old enough now that embarassment is not really an issue any more. I sing and dance like a dad. No surprise really - I am a dad.
