As the title suggest the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 trailer shows off the fact that it will be set in multiple city's around the globe, now after re-watching it, i couldn't help but think to myself imagine a zombie game where the campaign works the same, it follows squads of soldiers in each military around the globe in an attempt to either stop the outbreak, or reclaim the city's, it would work as a great fps game and could probably feature co-op, we have the tech to do this with current gen consoles and obviously the PC, so escapist what do you think, i know it's not a great thread i was just wondering who agree's here and reasons for and against

im sorry but if you go for a realistic zombie outbreak then you don't need ground forces...it would be a flight sim...

A realistic zombie outbreak would be hiding in your basement until you almost starve to death, then getting bitten when you go out for food in your weakened state.

So something like the end of World War Z. Oh spoiler alert.

Whatever, the last thing zombies are SO FAR is in totally bland shooters, z-modes in CoD notwithstanding. Don't want a crappy linear corridor-fest shooter that'll sell a billion copies thus cementing the 'end' of zombie gaming.

I mean I guess someone could say Left 4 Dead falls under that, but it's not bad.

I was thinking it would be more non-linear, ie: imagine having a large segment of the city in each scenario that you have to move and clear and do different objectives but in no major order, so you could do an objective to lets say restore power after you've done the mission to clear out a hotel meaning the use of flashlights and stairs than lit hallways and running elevators.

its not the worlds greatest idea but if some company put some time and effort into something like this then it might actually drag the zombie genre out of the cess pool it currently resides in.
