My agenda is righteous, your agenda is not

I have an agenda.

Part of my agenda is to rant long and hard about your agenda, because my agenda is correct and your agenda blows. I get so pissed off when I voluntarily click on a thread discussing your super sucky agenda and you teabag me with it. Everyday I'm getting your shitty agenda inappropriately forced down my throat and it feels like there's nothing I can do to stop it.

That's why the other part of my totally awesome agenda is to tell all the gaming sites to stop pushing their lame agenda on me. How dare they espouse such foolish opinions! Some people may say that by telling others what to say and think is censorship, but it's not, it's just common-sense.

I'll stop pushing my righteous and proper agenda when you stop saying things I don't like.

Sound fair?

We all know that size and brightness matters.

Saying that someone has an agenda because he's asking people not to spam their agendas is like calling anti-racists intolerant towards racists. It's the same backwards logic that tries to rationalize bad or annoying behavior.

I really appreciate that you've been a member of the Escapist for five days and you haven't spammed your agenda in every thread you've been in.

My Agenda is an apathetic one, so unless yours is one which actively fights apathy we have no problem. Though feel free to spam yours to me if it is.

Or don't.

I had a two or thee paragraph response to this, but I couldn't muster the will to type it all out.

What does your agenda dictate about pizza and beer, mr Dad?
There's always an exception to the rule, so you can force your pizza and beer agenda down my throat.

Well, unfortunately, I don't have any pizza, and just finished my last beer.

Edit: got smokes tho, if you want.

Sometimes I doubt thee Daystar. Sometimes I think "He can't possibly make tired old jokes work".

I forgot that on the internet, no joke can't come full circle.

OT: I'm sorry but that interferes with my agenda. I guess we're at an impasse.

I don't have an agenda, that's the point. I keep this shit for the political forum because that's where we discuss politics. But since *some* people decided to make videogames a battleground of gender wars I will offer my strong objection with proper arguments against the ideology that tries to impose its dogma on gamers.

...I like to think that the purpose of this thread is to point out that we can still get along and not start flamewars even if we disagree with eachother. Might just be the booze talking though, because I don't remember being a hippie pacifist.

Thanks for not imposing your proper, dogma free arguments against a clearly improper ideology.

AkaDad made the thread to specifically complain about people objecting to the injection of political agenda in videogames. He's using sarcastically our arguments word for word to make a point that this is an agenda too. You know, like the "agenda" of being intolerant towards the intolerant.

That much is obvious, but you seemed to have missed the fact that Zontar and Carnex, who aren't on his (his right?) side of the debate are also taking it as a joke, much like Daystar, who is on his side.

Edit: also the 'righteous' thing is kind of a dead give-away.

It almost sounds like your implying that I had an ulterior motive, like perhaps to make people smile and laugh, or maybe that's just the weed talking.
