I have decided to cast and make a scene for the new Hunger games movie Catching Fire. This is a rough draft that I wrote for a scene so please give me your thoughts.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire script 1
Actors:
Willem Dafoe- President Snow
Batman- Katniss
Hellboy- Katniss? Mother
Tom Cruise- President Snow?s bodyguard
Scene: (Katniss has just been brought into the room with President Snow who is going to give her an offer she can?t refuse)
(Enter Katniss)
President Snow: Well hello Katnip!
Katniss: Hello Mr. Snow
President Snow: You know my associates said you?d be very difficult, but we both know cooperation would be best for you and you?re family and you?re?.. Cousins
Katniss: Nervously thinks to herself (How does he know?!)
President Snow: You know that the tricked you pulled with the berries has caused me many issues with the districts.
Katniss: But Peeta and I did it because we couldn?t live without each other!
President Snow: How far do you think that star crossed lover charade will last Katnip? Do you really think you have convinced everyone you have done this for crazy love?
Katniss: Please, is their anything I can do to make this right?
(Katniss? mother barges into the room)
Katniss? mother: So sorry to intrude, but perhaps you two are lickin for some coffee?
President Snow: (Seductively licks lips) Oh, I absolutely love coffee!
Katniss? mother: Then you?ll love this coffee! (Trips and breaks the table)
Katniss: Mom!
Katniss? mother: I?m ok dear, and so is the coffee!
President Snow: Thank god for the coffee?s?.. I mean your safety.
Katniss? mother: Well, I best be off running errands n such, you two have fun!
Katniss: Yes mom!
(Exit Katniss? mother)
President Snow: Anything? Well, you need to convince everyone in the capitol that you two are in love Katniss! So that way nothing happens to that ripped, moist cousin of yours who is totally related. He is quite the tall glass of water isn?t he?
Katniss: (Does he know about the kiss?)
(Enters President Snow?s bodyguard)
President Snow?s bodyguard: We are running late sir!
(Exit President Snow?s bodyguard)
President Snow: Oh, and one more thing Katnip (Leans over and licks Katniss? ear and whispers) I know about the kiss?
