My girlfriend and I were alseep in our bed when she partially awoke (half still dreaming) and thought she saw (or lucidly dreamed) she saw a white ghostly wormlike creature floating above our bed, she panicked a little bit and woke me up to point it out to me. At this point I also somehow saw it almost exactly how she described it and I was seized with fear. But then I think I woke up entirely and it was gone.

I think in my state of half awake she imposed a suggestion on my mind that caused me to hallucinate.

crazy brain stuff

have you ever had a similar experience?

Well, I was once coerced into a mission to gather a team of experts to break into someone's subconscious and plant a suggestion through multiple layers of dreams, but that's a whole other story.

Never, I usually sleep like a rock, and don't remember that much from my dreams.
...
But when I do, those dreams are always epic. Always.

I've got this weird thing that whenever I dream of say looking something up on the web or in a book, I can't read anything because it's all gobbled, then I have this moment where I think something is amiss, but can't figure out that I'm dreaming. After a little while I'll get frustrated from trying to read and wake up. This happens a lot just as a I start to fall asleep. It got really irritating once, so much that I couldn't actually fall asleep. I was just caught in a loop.

And then on occasion, I'll wake up in the middle of the night, and I literally can't hear myself think because my inner thoughts sound like a stock exchange. I'll just hear people talking in gibberish, or some random noises. That can easily carry on throughout the day.
