So, for the first time ever I got an actual, real life Phishing email. Apparently, I won a UK-based lottery I never participated in and if I just send my personal details to an e-mail adress in China I'll be a millionaire!
Isn't life just great?

Anyway, here's the mail in it's entirety:

"This is to inform you that your email address has won 850,000
Great British Pounds Sterling in the Uk National Lottery held
on 7th of December and released 10th of December 2009.
Ticket No. 5647 5600 545 188
You are to acknowledge the receipt of this email with your
Full Name, Address, Profession and Country to the claims agent
Mr. Edward Connor on claims.coordinator@9.cn for further details.
Send all details to claims.coordinator@9.cn only.
Lottery Coordinator Lickiss Paul D"

Now, googling uk national lottery hoax I get an example of the same hoax done almost 5 years ago. Please note the ticket number:

"We happily announce to you the draw (#954) of the UK NATIONAL LOTTERY, online Sweepstakes International program held on saturday 12th Febuary,2005. Your e-mail address attached to ticket number: 56475600545 188 with Serial number 5368/02 drew the lucky numbers: 11-18-20-23-32-48(bonus no 25.), which subsequently won you the lottery in the 2nd category i.e match 5 plus bonus. You have therefore been approved to claim a total sum of £230.640(Two hundred and thirty thousand, six hundred and fourty pound sterling) in cash credited to file KTU/9023118308/03.This is from a total cash prize of £1,845,120 shared amongst the (8) lucky winners in this category i.e Match 5 plus bonus.

Now, I've read about people scamming the scammers and thought it would be fun, but unfortunately I'm drawing blanks as to what to do?
Any suggestions for weirdo demands of authenticity I should mail these fuckers, to screw with their head?

I recommend the Escapist Mantra: "Report and move on." There's no sport in playing with scammers.

Send an email asking for a phone number, because you want to speak to a "supervisor" to confirm this. If they give you one- post it on the escapist and we will all take turns having fun at their expense. : )

They wouldn't answer, it's automated.
You're probably right, but it's still worth a shot I think

This [http://www.cracked.com/article_16234_having-fun-with-419-scammers.html] may give you some ideas, although I doubt you'd get much play from the type of scam email you received.
