My first montage

Hey guys, just wondering what you think of this:

Its my first montage and it includes random snippets of gameplay that ive done over the last 24 hours.

Its a shame i dont have a capture card, because the definition of my video sucks (I rendered 30 second clips off my file share to youtube, ripped them, then edited them in windows movie maker). I made this for lulz, but i enjoyed doing it, so what im hoping is that if i get posative reviews il make more! (But use premier & after effects instead of WMM).

Also, if this gets positive reviews, il request of you guys to render 30 second clips of you kicking ass, send the youtube link to me, then i will make an Escapist Black Ops montage!! Thats if you guys like the idea.

EDIT: I alot of you have mentioned that they are average kills. This is very true, all the kills you see where done in around 3/4 games. If i do another montage, il show only the very best and worthy of kills! (Although this may take a few days of gaming to accomplish)

EDIT: Second video int he works, heres just a test to show you what will be included - A fuck load of multikills, B52's and gunships.

I didnt get enough intrest from the community, appearnly people dont like uploading or watching pictures... videos are the way forwards!

Not bad, the first thing I think could use a bit of improvement wold be some of those quicker/shorter clips (mostly ones in the beginning here). Doesn't feel like there is enough context given to make those kills seem awesome, or in other words, they come and go too fast for someone to really grasp why that kill(s) was even included, or at least good (in gameplay context). This isn't that bad though, I would save some quick clips such as those for mid-montage if I made this, but they fit the music well enough as is.

Overall, not bad for a first tage. I'm used to making montages for other games (namely my Halo PC ones) so I don't want to go too in depth about how to apply knowledge to a game like Black Ops which I do not play at all.

It is alright, I suppose.
A lot of your kills didn't seem particularly montage worthy, though, and I started getting kind of bored midway through.

Cheers! I no my pacing can/is a little off and the context is out of place. Like i said i made it for a laugh but by the end of the video I started to pay some attention to what i was doing.

Im going to record some epic/special kills once i have time, all the kills you seen there were done in about 3/4 games.

Yeah, something that "stands out". Thanks, i think il do another but only use worthy kills.

Generally I don't find the single kills very interesting. I think a montage is something to showcase some of the cooler moments you've had over time. To me it seems like most anybody gets those every game.

If you want true epic, make sure to take your time though I know myself that editing can be fun and you really want to finish it, taking time to get everything on the same level is really worth it.

I have one Halo PC montage on my youtube if you want to see that, it's one of my better ones to date but still fairly shitty IMO. I'll also dig up one by another guy I know, a hell of a good player and a hell of a good video editor, likely the best montage I have ever seen. Lemme find that...

Well they're pretty average kills. I personally like to see insane killstreaks rather than a collection of random or lucky kills. What I will praise is the editing - it seems to flow rather nicely.
