Hola!

I've been reviewing games for a while on various content sites and made very little money doing t (less that $100 probably). It's okay because I love doing it, and I naively hope having a large, quality portfolio will one day land a steady gig or allow me to do it full time.

However, in order to be noticed you have to be different. That's fine, because I am different. But I wonder if there is a market for my sort of different.

So here is my absurdly in depth review of L.A. Noire: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/8094699/la_noire_indepth_review.html?cat=19

Basically I am looking for feedback. Anything you have to say about it is welcome. Also, I have a few questions:

1. Would you like to see more articles like this about games coming up?
2. Would you enjoy reading articles like this about games from the past?
3. If this review came out, say, a week and a half after the game did, would you prefer more content summarizing the game or be expository?

Thanks!

EDIT: The reason I posted this in this forum is because it seemed right. It's not about a game, and it's not a review, but rather a discussion of a review. If I put this in the wrong place I don't mind moving it.

I suggest post the review in the review section and not state that you reviewed it elsewhere except a simple link and short note as in "also reviwed at by me: URL".

answers to your questions...

you will get feedback.
1. post in the proper forum properly and yes/no/maybe.
2. look in the review forums. answer is there already.
3. spoilers are hated here. so I really doubt it.

I'm afraid to say advertising type links to other websites or blogs need to be kept to your profile, the reason for this rule is because your encouraging users to leave the site.
