My gf got me Skyrim!!

I wasn't planning on getting Skyrim until the price drops a bit, since I try to do that with every game, but my girlfriend surprised me just now by revealing she ordered it for me on Amazon (PS 3 version, my computer sucks). This was after I was telling her I had gotten caught up in the hype and was feeling pretty tempted to get it sooner than like 3 years from now, which is my usual policy. I was also trying to explain to her the fevered anticipation people have over this game. So anyway, I'm rather pleased.

So, um, discussion value...um...What should I get for her in return? (Not a game)

This just happened to me too! I bought her the Pets expansion for Sims 3 and the latest book in the series she's been reading (came out last week).

Here's what you do. Don't play it when it comes in. Instead, take her to something she likes to do (a movie, a concert, a dance, whatever) followed up by a nice dinner. Don't talk about the game, talk about the nice night you two had. Take her back to your place (assuming you don't live together) and make love to her. Not just sex, but foreplay, cuddling, the whole nine yards. Wake up before her and get her breakfast, in bed. Thank her for being an awesome girl friend.

Now, go play Skyrim. This one day will buy you at least a week of uninterrupted game time that she won't begrudge you.
