I like. It's always good to see people sharing talent and creativity on here. I feel that the 'passive goodness' (not a real expression, I know, but it's all I got) that you speak of in the description is warmly conveyed in the colouring and style. If (big if) my back was to the wall, and I had to find criticism, I would say that the ear isn't quite perfect. Please note I say 'perfect' here! I still rather like it! Nice work.

You've done the ear as though the head was straight, as opposed to leaning foward. Other than that, the tone/features/depth are all nicely done.

The ear is wrong, it looks like it's kind of facing you, but otherwise that's a gorgeous painting, miles better than anything else I could produce.
