My (preference?) in women Ive recently discovered

So I recently discovered the name for the kind of girls I like. At first I thought it was that whole "scene" thing, because they did catch my eye, but that was not it. So I was wikipedia-ing and I came up with Alt (alternative). That was it on the nose and I'm happy I can now put into words what women I usually go for.

So Escapists, man or women who else is attracted to Alt people?

I actually tend to dislike alternative girls because, more often than not, they're trying too hard to be different. Which brings me to my incredibly cheesy preference in women: I like women who are comfortable in their own skin; the kind of girls that a good personality just comes naturally to.

I can spot a phony a mile away and I can't stand people who are trying to be something they're not.

I don't like scene guys. They're kind of jerks more often than not.

My taste runs to the nerd guys (as evidenced by the conversations I've had with my crush over the past 2 nights about tabletop RPGs, webcomics, AI bots, and the WORST video game ever made).

I like alt girls. Looking at my past girlfriends, they have all been alternative. Not sure why though. It's probably cause they're more noticable in a club crowded full of regular looking people. Plus they always seem to be much better groomed without making it look like they've spent hours slapping makeup and fake orange on.

I don't know if my group of people would be considered "Alternative", but I think I'm thinking about the type of girl you're thinking of, and yes, I approve.

A hot goth girl is undeniably sexy. They have to be hot though, it's not the goth that makes them hot. It's the fact they are hot and goth. I've seen some nasty goths out there.


OT: I love brunette girls, or gils with black hair. The funny thing is though that I have been with more blondes then anything else, seriously.... for some reason blondes just gravitate toward me. Nothing wronmg with blondes, blondes are beautiful, it's just that my social circle thinks that's all I'm into, when in reality they in fact aren't my preferance.

So I'm into normal attractive girls. If anything I'd lean towards nerd girls or even well-educated girls.
