My theory of Flemeth off Dragon Age

I have a theory that Flemeth is one of the Old Gods, first off her dragon form looks alot like a Archdemon which are corrupted Old Gods. She can also seem to see the future such as with Hawke in the DA2 demo. Morrigan also goes through a mirror in the witch hunt DLC claming that she will go to a place "beyond this world, beyond the Fade" which could mean that she is going to the afterlife of the old gods

Of course this is all rambling and will probably be disproven instantly but oh well =)

Ugh, that was painful to read.

Why does Morrigan going to a mysterious world prove that Flemeth is an old god?

At the moment, Flemeth is such a mysterious character that no theory can be conclusive, as there aren't enough facts about her to determine much.

He was talking about your atrocious grammar.

OT: I doubt it. She's probably just the crazy old witch who had advanced her magic to the point where she is incredibly powerful.

Also, Morrigan going through the Eluvian mirror has nothing to do with Flemeth. At all. It all has to do with the consequences of you sleeping with her.

I was commenting on the lack of transition words in the OP, relax.

As I said, so little is known about Flemeth that pretty much anything is possible.

Pretty much this. Morrigan has nothing to do with what Flemeth is. Flemeth is just an abomination.
And I don't think every dragon has to be an Archedemon. It's just a demon (let's say pride)
Oh, and it's a friggen HYPOTHESES not a theory. A theory is almost the same as fact.

well in the game morrigan tells you what she is when you give her the black grimoire... she was an apostate who made a deal with a demon to make her as powerful as she is. it never really explains the specifics of the deal so far but yeah thats about it. and she can turn into a dragon cuz shes just that beast :D.

Man you guys really need to contain some of that misdirected rage.

As for your "hypothesis," I like it. I had a similar thought during the DA2 demo. I imagined that Flemeth was a witch who somehow managed to capture and internalize the essence of a defeated Archdemon in the distant past. She is somehow able to control that power, though it has had the consequence of making her an abomination. This explains why she takes the form of an Archdemon at times, yet does not have the same level of power or the insatiable drive to destroy everything. I still have no real idea where Morrigan and her supposed sisters come into this equation.

I didn't think much of her dragon form, she looked more like the high dragon fought on the mountaintop rather than the arch demon.
As for her appearance in Dragon Age II, I just counted that among the changes made by the new art style.

It's true she's not human, but I don't know if she's an old god.
