I fell off a 3 story building.
Really?
Yup. I was on top of my buddies roof on the fourth of july around 2004. I slipped, rolled off the side of the roof and landed flat on my face.

In some bizarre twist of fate, I broke NOTHING. I was sore for the rest of the month though.

And the band video someone posted earlier nearly killed me.
Wow. You landed on your face from 3 stories. People can survive those falls easy, though it usually breaks something. I'm amazed your spine's ok.

Are you a vampire?

3 times from chronic Pneumonia. Anti-biotics and steroids weren't working. It was awful every time.

EDIT: I suppose I should mention the fact that I've nearly drowned more times than I've had hot dinners.

Panic Attack when I was little.

I had no Idea what was going on and continued crying making it harder to breath.

Chocked on Chicken bone when I was 3.

Almost drowned too, I was an ok sufer in californa, but i was at Maui and a big ass wave came out of nowhere smashed my rental board(insured)threw me down to the bottom(6Ft of water)
where I hit my head on something, so everything went fuzzy and I didn't know which way was up... after a few seconds I doggie-pattled back to shore and some people thought I was attacked by a shark because of all the blood, it never really hit me that I could have died until about an hour afterwords. Yah good times... I was like 11 years old, now I have a nice scar covered by my eyebrow so it rarely comes up in conversation.(Morphine really does rule)

my best friend likes to drive at the speed of moron so one time he tried to pass someone who also happened to be turning left. long story short, skipped a ditch and came inches from hitting a power line poll.

not really sure if it was near death or not but once while waiting for a bus at like 11 at night in downtown winnipeg (its pretty getto) 5 guys surrounded me and ask me for a ciggerette which resulted in this convo...

me: no dude i dont smoke sorry
drunk gangbanger: then give me your money
me: sorry dude i dont belive in money or possecions for i am a buddist (yes i am a smart ass)
drunk gangbanger; (looking confused) your going to die

he then reached into his pocket so i pushed him over and booked it back to my office building. they couldnt really chase me since they were wasted but one of them yelled "your just emo!" at me....

I nearly drowned, as well as almost getting accidentally shot in the head with a hunting rifle by my brother. On the same day. It was awesome.

was at a lake where people were water ski'ing, was swimming a couple of metres out from the bank with friends as a guy was coming in at high speed, i herd the shouts from him and people on the banks, turned looked and threw my head under, and phew just in time as the guy flew over the top of me.

ow and not to mention obligatory near misses with cab drivers.

I was in the back seat of a car on the passenger side holding stuff up while my friend drove, we were just cruiseing along and saw a car farther ahead stop and wait to pull out, we figure he's going to wait until we pass, so we keep going. Then, after all the time he had to safely pull out in front of us he barrels out into us, pegging the car as we pass him, squarley hitting the passenger side door and bending it in. I've been told if I had been sitting there I would of had a severe case of the deadsies.

Fuck man I know. I had my buddy drive me to the docs, and when he said I hadn't broken anything, I thought he was insane. Literally EVERYTHING hurt though. Like, parts of my body I didn't know existed were aching. It wasn't a very pleasant experience.

I don't think I'm a Vampire though. Those Goats just pissed me off.

Again.

When I was 2. I used to live on a nice farm on a hill, a road ran past our house (A rural road, so people drive like maniacs) I was young and rebellious so I decided that I wanted to go down on this road. Noone noticed I was gone, and the only reason why I didn't go on the road was because my dog wouldn't let me.
I also was at a beach and got stuck in a rip-tide and almost drowned. My friend didn't even notice. Don't know how I got out of there, I just did.

Closest i have ever come to a near death experience is being shot (bow and arrow. Yes im an archer) from a riochet off a metal target somewhere to my left. it passed through just behind my kneecap and caused ungodly amounts of tendon/ligament damage.

I was once slashed with a katana (my own no less).
There was a party at my house and some assholes (who I don't recall wanting there) were getting to vulgar to a lady friend of mine, I tell them they better cut the shit or I'll kick there asses. Then one of them grabs her tits so I hit him in the stomach and then to the face, he starts bleeding pretty bad and goes to the bathroom. what I didn't know was after he got cleaned up he grabbed my katana from my bedroom came down and sliced my in the guts with it. spent a few days in the hospital, got drugs, the girl practically had to lay me, and i still have the katana. Over all it was pretty sweet aside from the almost being dead part.

I almost drowned at school. We were in the pool ( 1st grad, couldn't swim ) and we liked to climb on a legde right under the surface of the deep. I slipped and fell into the water. I tried to yell, but it's damn hard when you're out of the water for like 2 seconds and then under water. The asshole of a teacher didn't even bother. Thankfully, my mate pulled me up so i could get a hang on the legde.

Aaauhm..once. was Scuba diving in an old quarry for my Dry Suit course. Some clumsy bastard kicks the regulator (breathing mouthy tube thing) from my mouth 10 meters down, and since the dry suit (composted of boyancy jacket, thermal under fleece and airtight rubber suit, along with boots and immovable gloves) in temperatures bordering -2*c, i couldnt recover it. So sweeping my arm back was void because of the mongoloid brass zip across my shoulders and my hands being too numb to get the reserve air i panicked. Anyway, long story short after a few moments of blubble blobbly bluuuuuragh i filled my suit up with air and went to the surface risking the bends and ruptured air pockets in my head, and lungs. But all is well and im not dead. So fuck you fate fuck you!

I was trapped in a kayak upside down being dragged downstream by the current. It was only for about 30 seconds, but it felt like forever and I swear my life flashed before my eyes. Cut my thumb and got a nice scar there now to remind me of the mistake of panicing due to a mistake.
