So GW is rebooting the classic game, Necromunda.

It's Back [https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/08/13/breaking-news-necromunda-returnsgw-homepage-post-1/?utm_source=GamesWorkshop.com&utm_campaign=388bb63a3c-GW+17th+August+Necromunda+AU&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_c6e14e39d2-388bb63a3c-113313457]

I really loved that game. But as an Australian, I am very concerned about the price. GW products are insanely expensive here.

So, can they bring back Warhammer Fantasy Battle while they're at it? :(

Anyway, as a fellow Aussie...yay? I gave up collecting minatures ages ago due to the price point, but if people can stomach GW's prices and policies, good for them.

As this was my second favorite GW property (narrowly edged out by Space Hulk) and by far my favorite 40k setting and style, I'm cautiously optimistic with a touch of slightly more optimistic since House Escher are apparently going to be one of the starters.

The multi level gameplay is what really set it apart for me, I wish I still had it all. But those cardboard buildings weren't built to last forever.

You beauty. I've still got my old Escher and Chaos Cultist gangs around here somewhere, I might have to dig them up and give them a repaint.

I still have my Orlock and Escher gangs and a copy of the original rulebook and terrain in storage.

I suppose if they add the same level of customisable terrain?

IDK, there's better squad based tactical wargames out there. For a lower pricepoint. That has more advanced mechanics and results than rolling a d6. Imight look into it to check out its RPG mechanics, first...

The models look reasonable I suppose.

I also still have my original gang, Escher. I tricked them out with Ultramarine armour pieces as trophies. Psychological warfare you understand, my opponents were usually Ultra fanboys.

That's exactly why the zombies in my 40k Nurgle army are made from space wolves. It really upsets puppy lovers.
