So I am looking to buy a laptop in the price range of 1,500-2,000 USD

The best offer I found so far is:
CPU: Core i7-4810MQ
GPU: Nvidia GTX 870
RAM: 16GB DDR3
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Screen Size: 17.3 inch

For the price of 1,519 USD

here's a link: http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8278s-clevo-p170sma-p-6985.html?wconfigure=yes

I would like to hear your opinions about this offer and wether one of you knows a better one

Any help would be appreciated

I'd check out Ibuypower before you buy. They got some pretty sick deals and have sales for the major holidays. Great warranty program as well. Have had my laptop for a year and have only had one issue that has prevented me from using it.

I'm trying to choose a laptop, too. This site says the best gaming laptop for that price range is the ASUS Republic of Gamers ROG G750JM-DS71 http://www.squidoo.com/top-gaming-laptop but I'm not sure what to pick.

Check out the Lenovo site. Y50s have laptops with Geforce GTX 860M 4GB for 1,499 CAD or GeForce GTX 860M 2GB for 1,149 CAD with some different options (no SSD). The quality from Lenovo is usually pretty good. You can still get the Y510p from resellers as well and that has Geforce 750m in sli.

For any model you pick, check out some reviews and also forums for the manufacturer, or sites like notebookreviews, to make sure you won't be getting any unwelcome surprises.
