Hello there!

I decided that this summer I want to fulfill a wish that I've had for a long time - visit Vegas! I booked my flight and everything, but now I am trying to find a nice hotel. The thing is, they are pretty expensive. Do you know any websites where I can get some cheaper rooms? I only found one website with pretty okay prices ( http://las-vegas.hotelscheap.org/ ), but I don't know how legit it is. Do maybe any of you have any experience with this one? Or can you tell me one that you know is 100% legit?

Thanks in advance!

I got to Vegas about once a year, and I normally stay on the strip with a few other people just because it's convenient for our... adventures... yes... That and it's safe.

The place you don't want to go is Fremont Street. That place is just seedy, dirty, and not a place you want to be when it gets dark. It's pretty bad when one of the security guards at one of the buildings has to tell you that. Oh, and there are hookers everywhere there.

Try this place...

...for rates and such. I know for me I can spend more since I drive up there and it's cheaper that way. We normally stay at The Mirage since it's nice, and the rates aren't that bad. But it all depends on what you can afford.

I hope that helps! :D

EDIT: I forgot to mention, it all depends on if you're gonna be there during the week or over the weekend. Rates go up if you're gonna be over the weekend, and they're gonna be cheap during the week. Also, it's gonna be busy if there's a holiday going on.
