Hey Guys;

i am currently having alot of issues getting need for speed high stakes to work on my Windows 98 machine. free horror movie [http://watch68.net/movie-genres/horror/]

it works fine in software render but not when i choose 3ddevice.

i have installed the latest patch and also the spot patch for nvidia cards. when i installed the spot patch my graphics card got detected in the 3d setup

That's a pretty obscure request. Have you tried any retro gaming or Windows forums? I think you might need to go somewhere more specific for that kind of expertise.

BTW is that Geforce FX of yours really working? It seems like rather a late card and I'm wondering if either the drivers aren't really compatible with Windows 98 or whether the latest Windows 98 drivers don't support the card. Do other games work?

My first gaming rig had an FX7800. Wow, never even imagined I'd see gaming questions for a PC older than that. After a certain point you really need to stop updating with parts that old. The latest driver compatible with that hardware may not exactly be the best, just adequate. You may need to revert to an older driver.
