I'm going on a student cruise next November, and there's a costume party every year. The theme this year is movies, and I decided to dress up as one of the most memorable characters from my favorite film Spirited Away: No-Face, aka Kaonashi.'

The costume is fairly simple, but the mask is a problem. Apparently they're not easy to come by, and I don't have the time, patience or skill to make my own. The best purchasable one I found was this one [http://www.ebay.com/itm/Spirited-Away-No-Face-Faceless-Ghibli-Mask-Costume-with-Box-Fee-Size-/231175203852?pt=US_Costume_Accessories&hash=item35d31dac0c] on Ebay. Problem is, there's no indication of its size other than the vague description "fee size", and I don't know what it means. I'm a fairly tall person, so the mask needs to be big enough or otherwise I'm going to look really stupid.

Do you know anything that could help? What does "fee size" mean? Can you find any pics that would show the size of this mask? Anything that can help, will help. I reeeallly want this costume to be good.

The description says "25cm x 18cm (9.8''x7.1'')", though it doesn't say if that's the mask itself or the shipping dimensions. It seems pretty big based on the picture they have there of someone wearing it.

I think the box just looks small in the photo where the woman is holding in her hands. I superimposed a different image of someone wearing the mask on eBay and rotated it to the same orientation as the box. Then I reduced opacity and could see that the hands in both photos were almost at the same scale, showing that the large mask could probably fit inside that box.

*EDIT* Sorry, I neglected to point out that the two photos I used were from different auctions, so there's a possibility that the masks are not the same. That and the fact that the pricing on the two masks is significantly different. So your mileage may vary.

Might be a bit creepy, so make sure to tell everyone beforehand. Anyway I found this on amazon:

That could work.

In Sweden, he's called "The Faceless One," so I can't get used to him being named like a Batman villain in the USA...

I've seen plenty of No-Face cosplay at cons but I've never seen one with the actual merchandise mask. Everyone I've seen always just cuts out a big white piece of cardboard or something. If you did it that way you could get closer to the crazy giant head proportions you see in the movie, and it wouldn't be too hard to make it look somewhat nice since it's such a simple design even out of cardboard.

Reminds me of Adam Savage when he cosplayed as No-Face once. You should take a leaf out of his book and hand out chocolate coins to people.
