Recently I've been looking around newegg for a new laptop around $600. My mind set was Asus and I think I've found two really good deals.

First one I found that is exactly at $600 [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230026]

Second one [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220707]

Number two is a bit more expensive. I also tossed this mouse into the mix because I need one [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826664013].

I'M BUYING this for personal use and CASUAL gaming. So don't go "LOOOL GAMING LAPTOP?? LOOOL". And I already have a desktop so don't tell me to build one.

Which laptop would be the better deal?

OH, I almost forgot. Does newegg allow monthly payments?

I would get the second one myself. The first one only has integrated graphics, which basically means you can play solitaire. The second one has a dedicated card, which isn't amazing, but it's far and away better than integrated graphics.

Also, the 2nd has 2GB more RAM, which may or may not be that useful to you, it just matters on what you do with the laptop.

If I had to chose between those two, I would definitely buy the second.

Alright, thanks for the input.

Would either of these laptops be able to run Starcraft 2?

I would be amazed if the first one could simply because of the lack of a dedicated video card. The second one is a touch over what the recommended specs for Starcraft 2 are, so it can. You probably won't be able to play it on ultra high, but it should run well enough.

While there are certain brands to be cautious about it is best to choose the labtop based on whats inside it and not on the logo stamped onto the back.
