Need some help with World of Warships

Ok, I play on the NA server, I have friends who are playing on the EU server. Seemed like a simple thing of making a new account with a new email address that would have been used for nothing else. Except their seems to be no option to select server. Some help here would be appreciated as all I can find online is that the server is tied to the account.

There are no other servers on the EU server. If you want you play on the EU server you'll need to download the game from the EU site.

Did you make sure to download the EU version of the client? For some gawdawful reason, they don't just have a global client. You've got to go to the EU version of the website (and stop their attempts to redirect you), make an account there, get the EU version of the game, and make sure it doesn't install into the same folders as the NA version of the game.
