I have recently upgraded my media centre PC with a nice shiny Ati HD5xxx series so it can play some pretty beefy games now.

We have been looking for some games to share the fun with. This is a little more difficult.
Me and my housemate quite like games hat make you think a bit and work out puzzles. Tomb Raider: Guardian of Light was perfect. really enjoyed that, but we have completed it now.

The other person I am catering for is my friend who likes shooting action games like Call of Duty.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Look no further. Here is the game for you and your friend.

Push your computers potential to the max, with this great AAA title.
I lol'd anyway get Crysis the original one.

Brink. It makes you think about how much you hate the AI.

If he likes shooters and you want strategy, I'll go out on a limb and say Killing Floor. It's all "kill and avoid the zombies" until the later waves. Fleshpounds are tough for one guy to take out and strategy is important when facing the Patriarch. I've gotten more than my money's worth out of Killing Floor.

Not exactly a beefy game to test his new card out, but its one damn fine game!

I'd get Starcraft 2, team games can be really fun and the custom games are pure awesomesauce, well, some of them are. While it may not be the best game i have ever played its certainly the best value for money, i've gotten sooo many hours out of it.

If you and your friends like the Diablo style game, Dungeon Siege 3 is out next month, looks good, although still a bit early to tell if it will be.

For fps, Brink looks great, but you might wanna wait for a couple of patches so they can fix alot of the issues with the game.

Also i'd recommend Trine, won't push your card much, but its a fantastic co-op puzzler/platformer game!

Whatever you choose, I would recommend taking advantage of the Ubisoft sale on steam right now, although it's now a couple of years old, you could both have a lot of fun with Rainbow 6 Las Vegas 2.

I've actually thought about making a topic about this game, since its treasure that seemed to go unnoticed.

The game I am talking about is Dark Messiah Might and Magic, okay first off the reason why it didn't do very well is because the game was very buggy upon release, however it has since been patched.

Now the game it self is awesome I have completed it countless times, its probably one of the most immersive games ever created for PC. Before you go ahead and play it there is one thing you should know: do NOT play mage its completed underbalanced and when you hit mid/end game your spells won't do any damage any more.

OK sorry, I didn't make myself clear.

I'm not necessarily looking for games to stress my PC. Not fussed about that at all.

I am looking for games that two or more people can play on the same computer. That is why Guardian of Light was so good.

We could both sit there with xBox controllers on the sofa.

Other co op games are great. already completed portal 2 and others, mainly looking for a more sociable set of games for the media PC.

Thank you for all the recommendations anyway
