As of today? Hrm, just the triple A stuff, Such as Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Fallout, Oblivion. I know theres also some JRPG stuff too , like Infinite undiscovery

Now if you want to wait a couple more months, Dark Souls will be out, and that I would fully recommend in advance.

The Last Remnant is my favorite, but it's really a love it/hate it game.
(awesome music, awesome gameplay, good graphics, average story and characters)

Lost Odyssey is ridiculously underrated. Everything else is up there ^^^^^.

There's one I played awhile back, called Circle of Doom, I think. There was a subtitle, too, but I can't remember it. Anyway, it was pretty fun. Lost Odyssey is pretty good too, as far as newer JRPGs go.

Any specific preferences? Western? Japanese?

Bah, I'll just recommend Tales of Vesperia anyway. The overall story isn't so great, but the characters and combat more than make up for it.

Tales of Vesperia and Lost Odyssey I would say are the best two JRPGs on 360. If you want WRPGs go with Dragon Age Origins. It is my favorite WRPG on the system.

WRPG: Mass Effect series, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, and the Fable Series. JRPG: Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia, Lost Odyssey, and Infinite Undiscovery.

Tales of Vesperia. It might not have the greatest story in an RPG, but it is still very good and does well hold up the game. It has an amazing cast of characters that are well developed, a hero that actually gets sh*t done when it needs to be done (you'll get it when you play it), good music, great voice acting and an amazing battle system.

Overall, considering I consider ToV to be the best RPG of all time, I'd easily recommend it to anyone.

I'm playing Risen as I'm writing this. It's actually pretty fun.

It's ugly, and the voice acting is sub-par, but fun. And hard. No level scaling here, no sir.

I would whole heartedly recommend The Last Remnant, fantastic game. Alas you play on Xbox, which it is on, but apparently it doesn't run particularly well so I don't know whether it's worth a rent to see how it is to you.

Some others:

-FF13

-Oblivion

-Star Ocean The Last Hope

-Fallout 3, wasn't a fan of New Vegas.
