Need something new to play

I have been playing games for most of my life and have recently started to hate all the games I currently have (for the Ps3). I'm looking to get a new game but don't really want to take the time to look something up and research it. Doesn't need to be a new release, but something fun. Not too complex, just fun.

Also, is your PS3 Backwards compatible? If so, geez, where do I begin?

Shadow of the Colossus, Beyond Good and Evil, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Resident Evil 4...

Now if you will excuse me I have to go play Starcraft 2 until my eyes bleed.

Came into this thread wanting to suggest Civ V.....but that clearly doesn't fit your critera. How about Ratchet and Clank? I've always gotten a kick out of that series, straightforward and fun.

Theres quite a few games that i could recommend, but if your anything like me uv probably played most of the recent games that are out. I suppose u should really make the effort to try a game type uv never played before. If u like RTS's try a FPS if u like FPS try adventure or roleplaying game. Hope that makes sense, wot i mean and wot i type are frequently different

Thanks for all the ideas, no my Ps3 is unfortunately not backwards compatible. I have been dying to play Shadow of the Coloussus for quite some time. I will have to check out Neir.
