I just picked up a flute yesterday because I thought learning to play one would be fun and I really enjoy all the Celtic, classical and Jethro Tull music I've heard with flutes in. At this point I can make an embouchure that works for the top three or so notes on the flute, and I can't reliably play the upper octave. You Escapees have any tips for me?
(I've been playing (mostly classical) guitar for eleven years now, so I think getting the embouchure right is going to be my most serious problem).
