Nekopara OVA kickstarter stars, fully funded in minutes

So for any of you who are unfamiliar with Nekopara, it's a visual novel series about a man who takes care of cat girls (and yes, in that way included) and so the next logical step after three successful games is an OVA. Well, with an asking price of 100,000$, for this type of OVA based on a game, it got fully funded in record time.

At the time of writing this post the kickstarter has reached just over 230,000$, with its stretch goals meaning the OVA will be 30 minutes instead of the originally intended 20. However at this rate it'll reach the last goal of 60 minutes in no time.

We did it weebs, we got our perverted anime cat girl anime.

OT: This is one of the ways crowdfunding can go right. If there's an untapped market somewhere, its success is no longer entirely dependent on investors measuring risk vs reward or considering their reputation for associating with certain things. Instead, things can now be funded directly by their audience, which can be both a blessing (Joking Hazard, the Dark Souls board game) and a curse (star citizen).
