I absolutely love Nevermind, favorite song has to be Lounge Act, in fact, the entire second half of the album is really freaking good. I prefer Nirvana's other 3 albums, though, to this one.

I never really could stand Nirvana. That said, I recognize they were a highly influential band that made a huge mark on music during the 90s, and Nevermind is by most accounts their crowning achievement.

I still kind of chuckle to myself over the whole "child pornography" controversy over the album cover.

Nirvanna is hands down the worst of the big 4 of grunge.

I just can't fucking stand Kurt Cobain. The dude was a massive pussy, and he gets all this love for what? Killing himself? Making grunge that isn't even close to being as nuanced, or for that matter even as catchy as his contemporaries?
And nobody gave a fuck about Dave Grohl until the Foo Fighters. And still nobody even knows who the fuck Krist Novoselic is. So really the whole spectacle of Nirvana was Cobain being a giant douche.

I really wish Cobain hadn't killed himself. At least then Layne Staley would be the most important grunge singer to die. And all would be right in the world.

That being said, in utero is much better then Nevermind. Nowhere near as good as Superunkown, Ten, or Dirt, but I mean, not much really is.

I like Nirvana, and quite a bit of other grunge bands. I thank Kurt for popularizing a great genre.

Nevermind is a great album, and wish Nirvana was still around to make more like it.

I wanted a tshirt with the album cover on it that I could wear to school. Then I realised how bad an idea that might be... All in all my favorite album by one of my favorite bands.

As someone who doesn't listen to much grunge, Nevermind is a very enjoyable and accessible album. I won't feel guilty for thinking as such, even with 'In Bloom' specifically criticizing dilettantes like me.

As someone who had a neighbour as university who never stopped playing Nevermind, I can honestly say...

Most. Overrated. Album. Ever.
