New erotic anime game has possibly the best trailer I've seen this year

If I may, I'd like to share with you one of the best trailer's I've ever seen:

Record of Agarest War is the name of this game - and as you can tell from the trailer, it looks to be a combination of a hentai cartoon and a JRPG.

As far as I'm aware, it'll be out on Ps3 and 360, and it'll most likely arrive in 2010.

I think this game looks hilarious. If it genuinely creates good characters and interaction with them (not like a minigame, I mean in conversation, like Dragon Age) I may actually pick it up. It seems to have a good sense of humour about itself, and I admire that about a game that some might label as disgusting or inappropriate.

I think I'm going to follow this for now, and discern whether or not the actual game looks intersting itself. Anime boobs are fine, but I'm not prepared to play through a bad game just to see some.

If it does turn out to be nothing more than a gimmick, then I won't pick this up. But if turns out to seem genuinely interesting in more ways than the promise of cartoon boobage, then where's the harm in that?

So, tell me, what are your thoughts on this? Do you like the trailer? What about the premise of the game? Are you disgusted/entertained/intrigued/titilated by this?

I don't see why a completely mediocre game should get so much attention just because it teases sex. It's just embarrassing to see so many people go crazy over it.

Well I doubt this is worth The Escapist making a news story about - it's not particularly controversial as far as Japanese sex games go.

It says xbox at the end so, unless they are giving them a bit of free and misleading advertisement, I dont think it is just for the PS3.

What can ya say? The masses love sex. As far as everyone else is concerned, it all comes down to the essence of the subject, Porn is porn, an its just a matter of taste. Like religion.

Maybe i'm just a snob when it comes to the quality of my hentai, but that looked pretty tame and lame. Moreover, the trailer straight up tells you that the sex is apparently more important to the company than the game. This does not instill in me confidence that this will be a good game.
