THIS IS WONDERFUL! One of the things I hated about TM's was that I was scared to use them, ala RPG Stockpiling syndrome. I always thought I'd need it more down the road with a better Pokemon.

I'd like some proof of this...

But if it is true, then awesome. That's much more convenient.

I guess it makes things easier, then agian I think that it takes some of the stratergy out of the game.

Oh, that's nice.

I also notice that the new 'team rocket' is called Team Plasma... They're basically PETA...

A TM is used to teach a Pokemon a move. Until Black and White, a TM went away after a single use, which sucked because for most of them, there was only one of teachable move.

PETA? people for the eating of tasty animals? lol, anyway, this partially offsets the atrocity that is not being able to use any of the older pokemon until you've already "beaten the game". But i still don't think i'll be playing it, I just like too many of the older pokemon.

Shame the same cant be said about Pikachu.
No original pokemon in B&W.

OT: This sucks, tbh.
TMs turn into HMs, do not want.

So...does this mean we're also getting rid of the whole "YOU CAN'T LEARN MOVES OVER HM MOVES MECHANIC DESPITE ALWAYS HAVING THE HMS WITH YOU LOLOL"? Extrapolation would point to "yes," seeing as TMs would now become HMs.

...Of course, this also means that you won't be able to buy them any more. You want Earthquake? It's in the dead center of Victory Road. You can't reach it until after you beat the Elite Four. HAVE FUN!

Not sure if you were clarifying what I meant, or if you were pointing out that, but my comment was meaning because no old pokemon were going to be in it. Pokemon are just so unorigional and just frankenstiens now.

One mistake I think people are making is thinking that they will become just like HM's (only unlearnable by the move deleter), but what is actually happening is that TM's will still exist, they just won't go away after use, and you will be able to learn moves over them, this just makes it so the only difference is that HM's can't be deleted by anything but the npc designated for deleting moves, while TM's can simply have new moves learned over top of them.

So are they replacing the Trading Four then?

And no, I don't really like this. TMs were one of the few items you had to work towards. This cheapens it greatly.

.....YEEEESSSSSSS!!!

Part of the strategy was in that TMs were one use only, I will admit. You know what though? I always get TMs that rock when I have pokemon that CAN'T FUCKING USE THEM, so I end up using it on the first pokemon I find because I'm eager to see how good the move is. So I love this.
