New Lord of The Rings game.

Well they have released a demo on live, it's coming out this month so they have already made it. I shall tell you how the demo fares.

I had tons of fun with Battlefront. I loved the feeling of being an expendable pawn, rather than the hero all the time. This looks fun too.

I played the Demo on PSN a week or so ago. I really didn't care for it, but then again, this is the type of game I'd play on PC rather then a console. I still don't think it'd do much for me.

That would probably be because it was an RTS. Those games are very hard to balance, and I can understand why liberties were taken. As it turns out, it was a very well balanced game. It was actually a pretty good game at the time, in my opinion, despite it's flawed interpretation of the book. Actually it was also very heavily based off of the live action adaptation, too.

But that was the sort of game that just didn't need to follow the book very heavily to be good.

Camping in Ents and Trolls comes to mind. Oh, backstabbing is really finicky.

hell yes. thats why its one of my favourite games

this looks like it has the potential to be good but since its lotr it might follow the trend of its other games (BFME being the only exception). still gonna check out the demo tomorrow though

i played the demo and was less than impressed... i was looking forward to this game, but the classes seem unbalanced, the graphics are ugly, and the battles just don't feel very epic...

i am a BIG SW: Battlefront fan and will be waiting to see if the third game finds a new home after Free Radical fell apart...

EDIT: big props to the OP for having the MASK avatar... great comic book, too bad the films sucked....
