I'm impressed.

Not usually a fan of Superman but this actually looks like it has potential. I still probably won't watch it in the cinema but will look forward to seeing it on DVD.

Kind of wish I knew more about the plot. Yes I know it's an origin story but from the look of it, there is a villain well a foe that he will face (that scene where they were about to clash from the outside of the building).

I can't say that I'm a fan of Superman, but this looks pretty good. I'll probably see it when it comes out.

I was really hoping that this would not be an origin story. Now they dare to make an origin story interesting by making about Clark overcomes peoples fear of him. That could be cool.

Well, that was actually pretty good.
I usually find it hard to get excited about Superman in general, but that looks like it'll be enjoyable.

I'm 80% on this but I believe it will be Zod he is facing..... in fact *taps away*

Yup says General Zod is in it so I'd imagine he will be the main villian.

When I first heard about Man of Steel I was kinda meh about it, even Snyder and Nolan did not catch my interest. After seeing that trailer though I am optimistic and excited about it. I hope it lives up to the promise that trailer shows.

Hell, excellent pacing in the trailer for the film?

Zack Snyder tackling another comic book film was all I needed to hear originally, but now that I get a glimpse of what's to come, I'm a sight more excited for this.

since a super serious take on batman totally worked for me this could too

though TBH I still find it weird since there was another superman movie only 6 years ago...anyone remember that?...no?...

Yes but we kind of pretend not too. Plus I think Superman does deserve another take because it's been a long time since Superman has been done right.

Is it just me, or does it look like Zach Snyder is taking some cues from Terrence Malick? It almost looks like "Tree of Life" or "Thin Red Line" right up to the point where Superman starts flying. Don't get me wrong, I agree with Movie Bob that Zach is talented, but can screw up big time, like with "Sucker Punch." Maybe this is his attempt at maturing a bit as an artist. If so, I think this could be a truly great film.

Going from that trailer it genuinely looks good...

...However, it bears worth keeping in mind that once upon a time the Green Lantern trailer also looked promising.

Ill take the stance that ill want it to be good, but expect it to be mediocre. At best.

Damn. That's fucking incredible.

The whole 'people might fear me' thing seems like a good way to make the origin story interesting, and I'm a huge fan of Zach Snyder anyway.

I can't say I'm a fan of anything Nolan touches after he screwed up the Bat(though popular opinion will tell you otherwise.) but this looks reasonable, probably due to Snyder, he's great.

I'm not the biggest fan of. . . . I don't read comic books, but I'm not sure I like the idea of a gritty realistic Superman. I don't know it just seams like it wouldn't "work." But we will see.

Interesting... I'm not sure how I feel about this. I'm sure it'll be a good flick, but I hope they keep him a boyscout goody-two-shoes to a certain extent.

This just kinda looks like Batman with Superpowers.

I will definitely pay attention to this movie now. I'll probably end up seeing this if it ends up being half as good as the trailer.

Nolan said in some interviews that he doesn't want to get his hands to much in the movie, and also that he doesn't want the "super real" approach, but sigh....... I don't know, I saw the trailer this morning and i thought " why is he mixing Clark Kent with Bruce Wayne?" and also I'm just guessing but he seems to kill papa Kent... i don't expect much of this, Warner should take out Nolan if they truly want to take an chance at the Justice League thing.
