New phone, ideas for game related txt/ringtones

I've got a new phone and want to change the generic rubbish text and ringtones for game related ones.

I was wondering if anyone has already travelled this road and what do you have as your game related tones.

Anyway, I guess that I would have to record the sounds manually or possibly rip the gamefiles for the sounds I want, directly? I assume these would be my more likely options.

Thinking about it, I find it strange that games companies don't offer the option along with the wallpapers they publish as it would be good for advertising.

I have a worms one where a worm yells incoming! than you hear a missile fly past. I use a bullet for valintine song for my ring tone but a gaming one would be nice

Use Virgil's chirp from Halo: ODST for texts.
Then why not use one of those songs from the Portal 2 soundtrack for a ringtone? They're free to download.

I have metal gear codec for texts and for my ringtone I have the mega man 2 stage select music

I did have the Portal turret "Are you still there?", but if I got a text in the middle of the night when I was a sleep, it was quite creepy.

Then I had Kefka's laugh. Not much of an improvement...

For ages I Have the standard Final Fantasy victory fanfare.

There are probably a lot of people that had the same idea. Maybe google around a bit. Or maybe someone on youtube has a download link. Or you might use this file [http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JIQ9ZY9Q] and chop it up. I recorded mine directly from the MGS4.

I use the Star Mario sound for a Ring Tone as well. However I do 1up sound for text and Mario being damaged/shrunk for incoming emails.
