New Pokemon Mega Evolutions!

Looks like Altaria, Lopunny and Salamence get the Mega treatment as well!

Altaria gets Dragon/Fairy Typing and the ability Pixilated
Lopunny goes Normal/Fighting Type and gets Scrappy
Unknown if Salamence nets a type change. but it DOES get Aerilate. And who said he was broken?

So, thoughts? Myself, I hope Milotic gets one next. She HAS to be the most FABULUOS Pokemon in the world!

As for me, Mega Altaria look alright, Lobunny is kind of ok but kind of weird looking well at least it's no longer feminine looking. Lastly we all knew Salamence was going to get a mega form and honestly it's my least favourite in terms of apperance since it look like an airplane in its mega form.

Alright, here are my thoughts on these new 3:

Mega Altaria: So fluffy, so cute, and with typing to kill all? Why thank you GameFreak.

Mega Lopunny: Looks okay I guess, seems quite odd that a Gen IV Pokemon is getting a Mega Evolution in the Gen III remake, would've thought that more of the Gen III Pokmeon would've had priority. I mean we could have had Mega Tropius!

Mega Salamence: Go home designers, you're drunk. I'm sorry, but that looks so damn stupid for what they gave to Salamence. Now, I was never really a fan of Salamence back in the Gen 3 days (Flygon for life!), but I thought the design was fine. Mega Salamence, as Scarim Coral put it, looks like a damn airplane.

The only one I don't really care for is Mega Lopunny... but then again. I never liked that Pokemon.

Mega Altaria is pretty awesome. Fluffy and adorable as ever. I'm the odd man out as I actually like Mega Salamence. It may look like an airplane, but it looks like a badass airplane.

OT: Mega Altaria's looking to be a tough beast with her typing, but she's going to need better stats and moves for any of it to matter. Here's hoping.

Mega Lopunny...Was never a fan of Lopunny in the first place. This Mega changes little.

Mega Salamence...Yeah, I wanna a clearer picture before I feel I can actually say anything about that; the one Serebi gives us for is...well, crap! The Aerilate ability is going to be game breaking, though.

Fairy/Dragon, a very dangerous combo I must say, as long as it does not go against a steel type of course. Good thing I always have Reshiram on me, fairies don't scare it!

A little annoyed that Lopunny got one especially when the likes of Milotic, Flygon, Tropius, could have gotten one, maybe they still will. Though I guess it's interesting to see such a random Pokemon get mega evolution considering they mostly go to Pokemon who don't need them.

As for Mega Salamence, well I am not a big fan of it myself. Mainly because it's yet another overused, viable Pokemon given a Mega evo.

Still no gen 5 megas yet, I know a lot of them are still very good competitively, but come on show them some love Gamefreak!

Just wait until they eventually do a Mega Dragonite. Would've thought that the less used Pokemon would be more likely to get the Mega Evolutions first, so that they become viable, but then they made Mega Garchomp. Still waiting for my Mega Tropius GameFreak! >.<

Well, to be fair, the overwhelming majority of megas thus far have been from Gen 3. I say they have enough; let the other gens have some.(Gen V has zero :/, I mean, c'mon even Gen VI will be getting Mega Diancie)

OT: Mega Salamence with Aerilate? Oh man, if only this thing got Extremespeed instead of Dragonite, It'd be banned so hard. Hopefully Hyper Voice will be a tutored move again so he can really rip it up.

Mega Altaria looks about as a Mega as something that was already a giant puffball can be.

Mega Lopunny looks fine, though I am terrified of it for reasons I will not mention here. (You can probably guess.)

Mega Salamence looks kinda silly, but badass all the same.

All in all, I am pleased with the designs, though I don't see myself using any of them. Mega Metagross on the other hand...

Mega Lopunny make me think of it being a couple with Diggersby at the Gym. Lopunny is getting a full aerobics workout whilst Diggersby is focusing on only the weights and using it's ears to lift whilst it uses it's real hands to hold snacks.

I rather doubt that the two would really work well together in a double battle though.

Knowing the way Lickilicky evolves, it's megalution will feature an even shorter tongue and it will gain another few hundred pounds. XD

I'm also kinda worried that we will get less newer Pokemon, and just have mega evos for the old ones to be the new Pokemon for future generations. I know a lot of people like to say there are too many new Pokemon, but I want more...MORE!
