I've heard the story mode plays through their rise and fall. Including highlights such as them getting booed off stage in swindon, their dallyances with psychadelic drugs and the "Paul is Dead" conspiracy.

I'd like them to sell instruments separately for wii. I don't care much for the beatles but my friends & I need a bass at the moment.

im having high expectations on this one... because its the beatles I really think their gonna go all out on story/interface/not be an expansion.

Im curious to how Harmonix is going to handle these expansions. I hope its not another Aerosmith.

The story mode would be interesting. I really hope they do what they did with the upgrade to Rock Band 2, where you could rip (almost) all of your songs to play in Rock Band 2. That's a feature that has made Rock Band 2 an investement for me. As long as we can keep building our music collection (as they promised when they first started DLC), I'll be happy. I don't want to be constantly changing (and replacing) game discs.

Hopefully they will sell the game separate from the controllers and the controllers will once again be cross-compatible. The instruments will be a big hit with die-hard Beatles fans, but for those of us who just want a bunch of great music to add to our collection, the controllers are an unnecessary cost.

So it's the Hofner bass for sure, and Lugwig drums, but no final word on the guitar...
The main site has a picture of an Epiphone Casino, my money's on either that or the Rickenbacker.

yeah I think its deff going to be the casino but i agree with Reverse, you have to be able to keep your collection going for this to be a hit
