Rogue One cameos, Mon Mothma, Thrawn kicking ass and Tie Defenders? Sign me up! It also looks like we'll get a final reckoning between Obi-Wan and Maul, ending a bitter feud that's lasted for decades.

I'm interested to see what they do with Kallus, now that he's revealed to be the new Fulcrum. I like how they've gradually made him a more sympathetic character over the course of the series, and there's lots of potential ideas they could explore with him.

...Oh yeah, and more stuff about Mandalorians. Truth be told, I've always found them rather boring...they're like a poor man's version of Klingons. I realize I'm in the minority on this one though, so I've accepted that there's going to be some degree of pandering to all the Mandaboos out there.

Just watched that a few moments ago and I've been trying to find someone to share my excitement with. So thanks for signing up!

The TIE Defends were actually revealed in an earlier episode, when their designed was flashed across some blue prints, but I did not think we would get to see them this soon. Looking forward to seeing them in space battle--also looking forward to seeing THE space battle. I'm hoping that the A-Wing pilots up their game a bit, because aside from when they show up at the end of Season One, these pilots SUCK. I'm having trouble recalling a single time these red shirts shot down ANY TIEs at all. I don't mind them getting wasted--it's war, and the good guys have to lose people too--but at least take some of the Imperials with you.

It's about time Thrawn lived up to his legacy. Because, while I was excited when he first showed up, he hasn't really done much. Just stood there, looming and talking. Which I get, because that's what he does in the book, but in the book you get to see his thought process and have him explain his methods. You also get to see him command and kick butt, something we have yet to see him do. Right now, he really feels like a copy of Thrawn, someone who wears his face but doesn't understand him on the inside. Like that scene with the AT-ST in his last episode. Thrawn took one look at it and just knew something was off. How? How did he know? It just feels cheap, but it appears there's fixing that in the second half.

I'm pretty sure Kallus is going to die. He's going to save the Rebels and earn full redemption, but he's going to die doing it. And I'm going to care when it happens, which is saying something because I didn't really like him when he first showed up, but you're right: they've done a good job fleshing out his character, and going back and watching the first season again, I can see hints that he's not okay with everything.

While I, too, feel the Mandalorians are overrated (I blame this on Karen Travis, for making them powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with pretty much ANY Jedi), I am super excited to see Sabine FINALLY getting her due. I mean, she's a Mandalorian after all, so she should be a heavy hitter, but she always seems to get relegated to the background. Looking forward to seeing her finally live up to her race's name.

I'm not entirely sure that we'll actually SEE the real fight between Maul and Obi, or at least not yet. Because while that would be cool, I find it hard to believe that they would show this in the trailer. We all know it's coming for sure, but...I don't know, this just seems wrong somehow. So I'm chalking this up to someone having a Force dream about their encounter, and that's what we saw.

Honestly it starting to feel like this could be the final season as it look like it building up for them to be a fully function organization. Seriously thought, they better not losed in the battle shown in that trailer as I'm fed up with them not expanding to the Rebel Alliance we know in the films!

As for Maul and Obi one last fight, we know how that will turn out but I guess that should finally bring closure for Maul. Still I wonder if this explained Obi lackluster fight with Vader in Episode 4 (Vader having robot limbs has cripple his true fighting prowless) or is it just old age (like if he substain some injury from Maul fight)?

Lastly, I still find it weird that Kallus is a turncoat now. He had no problrm killing his own men (he kicked one off from the first few episode) or a government (ok he didn't directly killed her but he know of her upcoming death) but seeing Thawn methods and the uncaring nature of the Empire has swaded him?

Right?! Its ridiculous! Even a Jedi Master would be like "Dude, she wants the d, and you want the p. Get on that while you're both still alive!"

So TIE Defenders are gonna be in this? Great. Wonder if they'll screw those up as badly as they did the B-Wings and A-Wings.

Really loving Rebels lately. If only they had as big a budget as TCW.

If they do have the finale for the series be in Rogue One (considering Rebels is supposed to be 4 years before Episode 4), I think that will be a little weird. But if they do continue it past A New Hope, that will be pretty weird too.

I kind of hope they keep it up.

It wouldn't be too hard for them to keep the show going during the movies.

It'd actually be fairly easy for them to be part of 'that crew that helped find the 2nd Death Star' or something.

But...you never really know with Disney.
