He doesn't have it however there is no knowledge to how he lost it.

Clearly from the trailers they acknowledge why he does not have his sword. The firey figure Jack meets tells him "YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN YOUR PURPOSE!!!"

So Jack in these 10 episodes must be on a journey to catch his sword.

Also geez....10 episodes. Who knows how much they have to cover for them to conclude the series.

I hope the episodes are an hour long, But its most likely gonna be the standard 30 min run time.

That looked pretty awesome.

It looks like the animations... matured... is t he best way I can describe it right now. There was the reflections in the tailpipe of the motorcycle and the smooth turns and really visceral slow-motion rain, I don't know, you wouldn't really see that stuff in the old series but I'm somewhat glad that the animation is rooted in the old days. I'd kinda like to see what would happen with a different style but I feel like I wouldn't like it so this is probably the best move.
