My point being if the regular swamp was an ecosystem where Presidents didn't trade pardons in exchange for not testifying in court, Trump has drained the swamp.

I think its important to remember in nature a Swamp is a beautiful ecosystem, rich in plant life, fish, birds, big cats, frogs/lizards/alligators. Its not something that we humans should be fucking with, and here we have Trump, probably the worst human of the last 50 years, and his go-to metaphor is destroying a natural environment. Draining the Swamp is all well and good, unless you're living there

He'll probably leave that until later, but he's just pardoned Charles Kushner (his son-in-law's dad; tax evasion and witness tampering). Also Paul Manfort, Roger Stone (who previously had his sentence commuted).

This might be legal, but it's not just.

Edit: Goddamnit he has. This is a man with more blood on his hands than virtually any other member of the American political apparatus. His literal job was laundering aid money to dictators into money for Republican politicians. His bullshit goes all the way back to being one of the youngest of Nixon’s men. Jesus Christ, is everyone rich just incapable of facing any consequences for killing thousands to hundreds of thousands for profit? Fuck. Fuck the American justice system. Fuck everything.
