Hello all!

The title says it all, what's everyone's New Year's resolution? Do you even bother making them any more because they always fail or have you ever actually kept one long-term?

Mine is to eat healthier. Not necessarily to lose weight, just to feel better and stop eating shitty food instead of actual, home-made stuff.

Also, the only resolution I've ever kept is giving up biting my nails.

lose weight, I've been warned that I can't have an operation on my leg (and therefore will lose the use of said leg) if I don't lose a few stone.

So out goes the booze!

My new years resolution is the same as last year's, "Do Stuff" it works, as long as I'm doing stuff I'm not dead, and thus everything is going somewhat ok right?

Aside from 'get out more'... which I've had for a few years now... *hrk*

Oh dear... what's wrong with it (if you don't mind me asking...)?

I need some nerves and tendons working on, but as part of the recuperation is a lot of physio, and my knee and leg wouldn't be able to cope with my weight. So I have to undo the last 13 years worth of hard drinking and partying!

Damn modern medicine and its morbid desire to ruin our fun! =P

Though I (kind of) know the feeling. I have to take care of my right knee... the joint's like that of a sixty-year-old's... :/

Still, I wish you the best, may we free-run in the not too distant future! XD

Nothing. If I'm going to do something I'll do it when it needs doing, not because it's a new year. Plus, everyone is like, "I'm changing" and don't. Stupid.

I really hate NY hype. Really, really hate it.

I tried to do that too and ended up with loads of red clothes. I don't know how it happens.

*holds head and almost screams* I just imagined myself wearing just red... not a pretty sight... and I rarely let other people buy clothes for me (except one ex and my sisters... weirdly) because of how wrong it all invariably looks on me... (not just to me, to them as well)... -_- Oddly, the only piece of non-black clothing I have is purple... and I wear that quite a lot... *shrug* /inane post

I'd been thinking it would be nice to try to be less shy and be more social with people, care less what others think about me. I've also like to stay committed to working out which has been an on/off thing for me for the past few months. Maybe finally getting assed to get my driver's license would be good too.

Heh, I am adding that to my list as well.

Do my lab-reports on the day I do the actual lab. This is if I actually make it into the next semester, which is slightly doubtful at the moment for reasons implied in my New Year's resolution.

Shh... don't talk about college. It's upsetting. If I don't see it, it doesn't exist.

I will strive to be more empirical in my habits, like Colour-Scientist.

-Start working on a project I've been meaning to do for a long time
-Go back to working on another one
-Stop being such a lazy ************
-Change pants more than once a week
-Exercise, because I used to play tennis for hours every day (not completely) by choice, though), and now I'm completely out of shape
-Stop procrastinating until they day things are due

...I'm expecting maybe one of those to actually happen.
