That's a very vague question. Although, I'd say that the next gen games will probably be more user-generated content and a lot more attention to what the average gamer wants via a more close relationship between devs and gamers through a broader market as the internet becomes more popular.

I foresee DRM being done in a way that doesn't bite the consumer. I bet Valve is pissing themselves over this.
