So this happened during a Civilization VI livestream:

Intentional? Probably not, as I'm told they had a quiet panic attack and pretended not to have done that during the stream. There's still a possibility of in being a big publicity stunt, but it just seems...odd.

If it's not intentional, then this is a colossal fuck-up to say the least.

EDIT: Okay, this post was vague at best. So let me address that issue.

This is the list of leaders in Civilization VI. It leaked during Fireaxis' stream, when they accidentally showed it to the world (or at least the viewing audience). This is basically a confirmation that the previous leaks were dead on.

The first place I saw it was here [http://www.gamerevolution.com/manifesto/all-20-of-civilization-vis-playable-leaders-leaked-on-stream-37413]. The image there should suffice.

EDIT: Also, I managed to get the image from that website to display. Previously the tried and tested "open in New Tab" method wasn't working for some reason.

These are the leaders of the game. You could infer which Civs are in the base game (excluding Montezuma).

The only weird one I'm seeing in all of that is Sparta (Gorgo).

It's a list of all the civs in the game at the moment, the mistake being talked about is that Firaxis likely didn't mean to show that screen during the stream.

So yeah, that seems to be it, Firaxis possibly screwed up and leaked their civ/leader list earlier than intended.

With less than two month to go... who cares? It's really not that big a deal. Personally the only shocking things is that there seems to be very few civ so either there not all in this build or there going to sell a lot of civ as DLC.

Most people don't even play as half of them. I'm an achievement whore, so I went and won as every single Civ, and getting through just the base ones took quite awhile, even when playing short games.

I just don't like how...random some of these seem. I get that they want variety and stuff...but I like when they make sense. Not every civilization dealt at a "world" level. Certainly not a fan of Japan's leader. I say stick with the 3 Lords, Oda, Toyotomi, and Tokugawa. Toyotomi more, cause he actually tried to invade outside Japan.

They could use Minamoto I suppose. I just prefer rulers who have had dealings with the world at large. Hojo dealt with the Mongol invasions, but I mean, Hideyoshi actually tried to conquer the world. Sure, he didn't get past Korea, but he got pretty close. Also no Roman Civ?...This is...a weird selection...

US, England, Rome, China, India, Mongolia, Egypt, France, Spain, Greece all seem like they should be guaranteed. I don't know all these figures, so I cant say what of these might also be missing.

We have the same default avatar, but I'm not Rangaman, unless you aren't talking directly to me with that quote, then nevermind.

Still, the OP did link to an article that explains whats going on in his first reply, that's when I realized what the OP was talking about. The original post is still really vague though, so I'll give you that.
