i do nice things ALL the time for people. but i just spent a few hundred dollars on my sister for her birthday. its the most i've ever spent on anyone and on her specificly. (not including myself)

As a point of interest. I got her a Zen X-Fi 32Gig MP3 player and a Koss Pro3AA Full-sized headphones.

Also, just off the top of my head... I helped my mother with an errand recently. I'm a nice guy, mostly a nice guy.

Although there was nothing self-less about it... There never is! People care only for themselves!

OP: you seem to assume I enjoy doing nice things. All the nice things I have ever done are usually either accidently or sarcastic.

I picked up a friend of mine off the side of the road in the middle of the night after she got into a fight with some people at a party and they started throwing rocks at her. The fight was a combination of people's faults not entirely hers. I had to stay up a good portion of the night with her because she had a mild concussion and I had work early the next morning.

Stopped someone from being hit by a bus. Also the same year I volunteered to help in a mental Hospital at Christmas by playing Santa Claus. This hospital has kids and adults with the minds of a kid and I have never seen someone's face light up like that before or since.

I once convinced my friend to turn in a 1000-kroners bill (130 ?, $ 185) even though he wanted to keep it for himself. I was glad when he turned it in.

EDIT: Oh, and it turned out that there was a girl missing it. While she was happy, she didn't thank him at all.
