Hi again. not sure if I posted three times or if my edited posts are rolling out as new ones. Luckily I have one last review I can post on the recently added Steam App for Android and iOS. Enjoy!

Android App: Steam

Valve, developers of Half Life and Portal, has brought its popular game distribution and manager to mobiles with the Steam App (Android and iOS).

At time of writing, the app is currently in beta. It brings the Steam store and community to your fingertips on a very slick platform. Pages are easily manageable, with touchscreen friendly sized links arranged neatly. Chat is easy to use, and can sit on the background of your phone, notifying you of any new messages. Profile editor, friends' pages, wishlist, group pages and gameplay statistics are all present with noticeably speedy load times.

Screenshots and videos are still a work in progress in the beta, clumsily placed and videos completely unplayable, but we should see this fixed for the full release.

The store itself works fine, though I am disappointed with no PayPal payment support, as this is how I normally pay for my items on Steam. But apart from that, it's very simple to see what special offers Steam holds today, and buy it before it ends, ready to then download on the computer later. If you use Steam a lot and have an Android or iPhone, get this app. It's perfect for chatting with friends, grabbing the latest daily deal and for seeing what the community is up to. Knowing Valve, the full release will be up to scratch and we will no doubt be seeing updates and added functionality in the future.
