I don't have too many nightmares. Usually just odd dreams.
Though I did have one last night where all of my closest friends here were dying in very brutal ways.
I knew they were going to happen, but for some reason, I couldn't stop it.

I had a dream where I was terminally ill. I went through the stages of grief and everything. It was a real eye-opener.
I had a dream the other night where I was in Halo's Space-Navy, and I was a returning gunner from after we completed our mission. For some reason, we went to W40k's Terra, where apparently there was a large ship-graveyard, and where they floated the corpses of fallen Naval members in caskets, with their service picture and ID. I was floating around with the Captain of my ship, for some reason without a space suit even though we were in space, and we looked over our old ship, and our fallen comrades. For some reason I saw Kira and his love interest (can't remember her name, from Gundam: Seed), and they were doing something. I came up to the floating casket of a person from my life that I love a hell of a lot, who had died apparently on the ship me and the captain were from. I kissed the picture, and carried on. Then, abruptly, we were in a large auditorium, in my High School, where it was a sort of party thing after the war. I went around congratulating people, and I explicitly remember saying, "Man, I know this'll mess me up. If I ever hear that alert sound again, I'm gunna be jumping to battle stations before I remember the war is over", which brought a few chuckles from people. Then, after that, I went outside and saw my mom driving her company car to come pick me up, then I woke up.
Not really a nightmare, but it was fucking weird. Anyone wanna dream-analyze this shit for me?

One time I had a nightmare where I got trapped in a tornado.
The tornado picked up this tool box, broke it open and a screwdriver flew out and stabbed me in the stomach. I lay there bleeding in the eye of the tornado as it devastated everything around me.
Wacky fun.

The last time i had a nightmare was when i was little and was watching films like Friday the 13th and IT for the first viewing.
Being trapped in my grandmother's walk-in closet during a hurricane. The house filled with water and my family left me there to drown. The least thing I heard before the water went above my head was the echo of their laughter.
I also had a dream that I failed to protect my friends as they were gunned down in front of my eyes. My best friend turned to smile when he thought we were safe. As he did so, they shot him through the temple. Then they left me alive to live with the guilt of failing to save them.

I have weird dreams more than nightmares.
I have a recurring one that involves my teeth falling out, and it seems so real it's horrible. I can feel my teeth dropping out of my mouth. Really not nice.
I can remember a few nightmares. One involved my younger brother falling under a train that we were on. In another I vaguely remember I was trapped in a room with someone who wanted to stab me - I think eventually I was stabbed, and went into that weird paralysed state you sometimes go into in dreams. Then he injected me with something and I woke up sweating.

I was living with my boyfriend in an apartment on the first floor of this building. I went out to meet a friend, he expected more than just a friendly afternoon. It did not end well. He and his buddies stalked me out of the restaurant where we had met up. I kicked the shit out of his buddies, but the 'friend' followed me all the way back to my boyfriend's apartment, which had the back door propped open and three dogs wandering in his bedroom. I tried to close the door, but the guy found me and threw me onto the bed. He then proceeded to strip me of my jeans and underwear and cover me in Pepsi, then whisper into my ear "Don't you dare move. I want whoever finds you to see you just like this, you little whore." When he left, I used my cell phone to tweet a call for help. My boyfriend's friend answered, and when I told her what had happened and where I was, she said "Shane will be there soon. Bringing guys back to his place while he's not home... you're such a whore."

I was 6 and my dad just died and i then had a nightmare a week later about (i played SC alot at the time) a thing came out of my dads room murdered my mom and put a face hugger on me

I had a dream where I was bathed in fire while in space! Seriously the fire moved and flowed like water but it was fire! Have to admit at first it was scary but then it turned AWESOME

I had a nightmare of being stalked by a Predator (after playing hte AvP game for a while).
IT was just, terrifying. I cant explain it. It was very unsettling. I was with my friend and we knew we were being followed, but we never saw it. We went to a couple places to hide ( an amusement park and for some reason the house of the family that owns a restraunt my family frequents) to hide, but hed always find us.
Also, falling dreams. Where you fall and you startle yourself awake.

haha the worst one i can remember is that hen i was maybe 8 or 9 i had a nightmare that my family was all made out of asparagus and were walking down a very long hallway to eat me... also my dog was made of asparagus and was walking on the ceiling.
EDIT:OH! i will also be almost asleep(this happens alot) and then see a cliff edge in front of me, i am then pushed off of said cliff and will jump, and i mean JUMP... or actually end up falling off of something(i've fallen forward off of a couch before

I remember finding what looked like a gigantic bone in my front yard, about eight feet long. It looked like nothing that would fit in anything short of a whale, and was yellowed and covered in holes. I dragged it into the house for some reason. A few hours later, I walked back out of the house and noticed an exceptionally thick cloud cover had moved in and there was a light fog. Suddenly I heard a deep, grating, and especially loud voice chanting something unintelligible. It began to slowly increase in speed and volume, and I saw lights flashing and spinning through the clouds. They got brighter and closer, and the chanting became louder and angrier, until it was essentially an incredibly intimidating scream. The clouds split open, and then I woke up. Scared the living shit out of me, which is why I can remember it in such detail almost a decade later.
Well, I am addicted to Mud and Blood 2, and I had one that I was on the battlefield during some war that never happened. I was in a trench gunning down soldiers from some other nation when an artillery strike hit. My closest friends were completely destroyed, and I was damaged brutally; my right arm had been blown off and my right leg was completely useless. I climbed out of the trench and had to slowly try to escape, watching more and more of my friends being blown to pieces. I made it to where the rest of the army was, fell to my knees, prayed to the God I don't believe in to keep my girlfriend safe, drew my pistol and shot myself in the heart. Should I stop playing that game?
I had a dream where I was being held in some kind of prison complex that for some reason looked like my old high school. Apparently it was run by some horrific monster that would select people at random and devour them. Now for some reason I knew it was a dream but I couldn't wake up, but I knew that at any time I could have been selected and killed by this thing. I just plain did not want to experience this and was trying as hard as I could to wake myself up. Luckily I did wake up before I was killed so the dream itself had no actual scary events, but just knowing that at any time I could be next and not being able to get out was horrific.
